The contractors move on to site at Oil Mills Bridge and begin a destructive search for reptiles. September 2007. A team of ecologists watch as the excavator carefully scrapes the the surface. Shortly after this photo was taken a reptile was found and placed in a container ready to be moved to its new home. The dignitaries symbolically dig the first sod on the Ebley Infill.

The construction camp at Oil Mills Bridge is assembled prior to work starting. 29 September 2007 17 October 2007. The excavation of the Ebley Infill has started! 19 October 2007. Excavation continues. 30 October 2007. The digger gets further away!
