Dear ENews Reader,

You may or may not be aware that the Waterways Trust's application for 'Big Lottery Peoples Millions' funding towards the restoration of Brimscombe Port Wall was unsuccessful.

I have no idea what the voting figures were yet, those that know how to do these things are endeavouring to find out.

But we are still in there for the best runner-up award...........................
