Log Delivery Service - Important Information

Details of the Service we provide.

 - Either load will contain some willow that can spit on an open fire - OK when used on a log burning stove.

- Some of the wood we supply will be unseasoned and in an ideal world would be laid down for 2 or 3 months before use, if not longer.

- Loads are usually delivered on volunteering days, these are:-
- Mondays & Wednesdays, Western Depot, Eastington
- Tuesdays & Thursdays, Eastern Depot, Eisey

- All deliveries are pre booked and delivery dates are agreed at the time the order is placed. Logs are generally unavailable for collection on demand in view of this.

- There is a discount available to CCT members. Non members can qualify for the discount by following this link to a Membership Application Form that, once downloaded and completed, should be forwarded to the Membership Secretary. 
The discount will be applied once a Membership Application has been signed with the Banker's Order option taken for the annual subscription.

 - A delivery charge of £5.00 is included in the prices quoted for deliveries made within a 20-mile radius of either Depot. For deliveries beyond this boundary a negotiated delivery charge will be payable.

- For an additional but discretionary donation the Delivery Team will stack the logs for you in a location of your choice.

- Average log length is around 9/10 inches (23/25cm) but, provided a suitable period of notice is given, we can usually accommodate requests for longer/shorter lengths.

- Payment is sought at the time of the mutually agreed delivery and credit/debit cards are the preferred method of settlement.

- Please bear in mind the log preparation process can be raw material, weather, time and manpower dependent, so there may be delivery delays at busy periods.
