Public Trips
Cotswold Canals Trust Volunteers operate public trips on the classic Thames River Launch Inglesham. Board the boat at our wharf on the south bank of the river in the popular Riverside Park at Lechlade.
Relaxing and informative 30 minute trips take place every weekend and Bank Holidays during the season.
Adult £4 - Child under 16 £2
Normal operating times - 11:00 until 17:00.
Car parking on Riverside Park is plentiful and reasonably priced. The car park is staffed at weekends and Bank Holidays and costs just £1 for the day from 10 am - 8 pm and FREE at all other times! Yet another reason to come cruising with us on the Thames! No need to book, just turn up and have fun!
Charter Inglesham for a Private Party Cruise
Inglesham is licensed for up to twelve people.
Inglesham's experienced crew will take you on a wide variety of cruises from simple river tours of the upper Thames, through to extended whole day expeditions, stopping at any of the lovely riverside pubs for a special lunchtime treat.
Alternatively, you can bring your own picnic to enjoy on board as we cruise. The historic Cotswold town of Lechlade is just a few minutes walk from the park. It offers a wide variety of amenities: shops, riverside pubs, restaurants, a post office and cafés through to top-of-the-range restaurants for a special night out.
Make a day of it, have a walk, have a boat trip, have a lovely day!
Private Party Cruises are available from April to October on any weekday between 10.00am and 10.00pm (light permitting) and after 4pm at weekends and during school holidays.
Guideline Prices:
- 2 Hour Cruise - £90
- 3 Hour Cruise - £120
- 4 Hour Cruise - £160
- All Day Cruise - £240

Inglesham will carry the bride and groom on a gentle trip down the River Thames to the reception at the chosen river-side location.

In the meantime wedding guests will have arrived ready to welcome the happy couple ashore.

How to Find Us
From the town centre take the A361 towards Swindon.
By Foot: - Turn right into the park immediately after you cross the river. Our gazebo will be seen at the far end of the field.
By Car:- The entrance to the park is clearly signed on the right hand side about 1/3 mile after you have crossed the river. Pass through the main car park under the height gauge, and follow the track to the far end of the field. Our Gazebo can be seen just through the trees.
From the Town Centre take the A417 towards Faringdon.
